QUALITY of CARE WINNERS 2014

On the evening of 15th July, over 1000 senior healthcare managers, directors and practitioners gathered at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, to recognise those organisations successfully driving the quality and safety agendas.

Hale Place had been shortlisted in two categories, Dementia Care and Quality of Care; we had proven to the NHS England judging panel that we are at the very top of our profession.

HALE PLACE was announced the WINNER of the coveted Quality of Carecategory for delivering excellent care, year on year, for the past 26 years.

Hale Place Care Solutions has already received two national awards in 2014 with employees Vikki Wright (Person Centred Care) and Carol Hunter (Highly Commended Carer); this third award surely cements Hale Place as one of the finest examples of quality dementia care within the UK.

“The management and employees of this organisation are people of quality who focus on enhancing the lives for service users. This award is dedicated to them for demonstrating great professionalism, patience, sensitivity and compassion to the most vulnerable people in our care. They are a credit to our organisation, their families and their community. This Award will inspire us to work harder to maintain our glowing reputation and improve, further still, the lives of those less fortunate.” Kevin Hewlett, Director and Proprietor.

PERSON CENTRED CARE WINNERS 2014

Victoria Wright (Registered Manager) and the Hale Place care team were WINNERS of the Person-Centred Care Award at the Nursing & Residential Care Awards 2014. Victoria and her team were rewarded for excelling in demonstrating respect for privacy and dignity of individuals at all times and for empowering residents’ independence and choice in their care.

Carol Hunter (Senior Carer) received a High Commendation for the effort of going beyond the usual routine and expectations of her job description and for providing high level, person centred care to our service users, since 1990. Hale Place making a positive difference to peoples lives!
